Yes alejandro, it can cause death. Computer dusting spray killed my sister. Look up "lostgirl" on here. She was on this site. She struggled, and then lost her battle. Now me and everyone else in her family are struggling with the loss of her. You should take this seriously. I hope you do not use any type of inhalant ever again.

The chemical may indeed cause damage to the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord).  Please feel free to look at this website that provides more information about the substance:  http://www.inchem.org/documents/cicads/cicads/cicad11.htm#SectionNumber:8.3 (and can scroll down to the International Chemical Safety Card or such)

I'm hoping that you will look past whether a specific chemical will do what type of damage or such and the fact that inhaling any of the substances used as inhalants has the potential for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), liver damage (the liver is the largest internal organ and helps to process fats and toxins from the system), one's lungs literally may freezing up in addition to cardiac arrest when the heart literally stops beating causing immediate death.

Please do take good care of yourself and be well.

Based upon the available evidence, specific immunological or
neurological effects associated with long-term exposure to
1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane were not identified.

so the danger of air duster is due ton low rate of oxygen in the brain

Please don't huff any computer duster. My mother found my baby brother dead this past Monday morning in his bath tub. He was 30. He had a mother and father who loved him, myself and our brother. I have a 9 year old son who adored him and a 2 year old daughter also. She will never know how wonderful he was. He was handsome and so funny! R He drown. I guess the huffing made him pass out or "blackout" as I keep reading and he was in the bath. He slipped under the water and died. If you have any addictions please get help! I know it is hard. I have had my own quiet struggles with drinking, pills, and other drugs. I lost my fiancé 13 years ago to pills. I found him the Thursday before thanksgiving. We had no idea my brother was "dusting" until the sheriff explained what they observed. When they removed him from the tub there was a can in the bottom. The last time myself and my children saw him was Thanksgiving and when we told my son his uncle had gone to heaven, he said," uncle cam looked sick on thanksgiving." "Is that why he is gone?" I guess it is, from what I have been reading. My heart is broken. We were so very close and now nothing but memories are all I have. My poor mother. It's terrible. She found her baby boy, gone. I can't imagine. Please get help. I know it is hard. I know it's painful. It's easier to just do it. But please don't. There are people who love you and you matter. Your life matters and what is going on will pass. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Dont think that it won't happen because in time it will catch up. People love you and need you. My brother was a regular guy with a good job and a future. Now that is all gone. Our family will never be the same.
