Welcome to the site, and thank you for posting.  That is great that you would like to find out information about the dangers of inhalant use and hopefully you will want to get sober and make healthier choices in life.

http://www.inhalant.org/inhalant/dangers.php

My friend has a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and other permanent damage such as to her bone marrow (fatty inner lining of the bones that makes blood cells) and has a severe grating at the back of her neck when nodding her head up and down most likely from the bone marrow damage.  She has a lot of trouble with balance and coordination due to damage to the cerebellum (part of the brain that controls balance, coordination and speech muscle coordination).  In addition, she also has a nystagmus (quick, involuntary eye movement) and has a tough time reading words and focusing her eyes on objects.  Other risks include seizures, limb spasms, hearing loss, other organ damage such as to the heart/liver/kidneys and death.

If interested in searching for information about counseling and treatment centers (and some programs offer state and/or county funding for those without health insurance - not sure if there are any bilingual programs for those from France):  http://findtreatment.samhsa.gov/

Please do talk with the doctor that had sent you for the rmi (perhaps that's how people from France pronounce mri which stands for 'magnetic resonance imaging' in the The States) scan as only the person looking at the scan, and who is a licensed physician, would be able to possibly answer that.  Please stay well.

You may have brain damage after long use but, it may kill you before you have achance to get brain damage. Please dont use duster anymore. Think about what it would do to your family if you would die from huffing duster. I know what hell parents go through losing a child to huffing. I lost my son almost 2 years ago to huffing. Its a hell I wouldnt wish on anyone. So please stop using before its to late...

It's not necessarily true that short-term inhalant use is not able to destroy brain cells.  Any time that a person decides to inhale chemicals is literally poisoning themselves, and the body may not be able to handle the exposure possibly resulting in an overdose, which is basically a type of Brain Injury.

Please do continue to stay sober and even consider self-help groups and/or formal treatment including counseling as a preventive measure, too.  For counseling and treatment programs:  http://findtreatment.samhsa.gov/

Narcotics Anonymous:  http://www.na.org

Alcoholics Anonymous:  http://www.aa.org and one may attend an "open" meeting if doesn't drink.

Any chemicals used as inhalants can destroy brain cells.  No inhalants are safe.  Please be well.

Look on internet or ask the question  to a professional
air duster is dangerous because of it cut oxygen not because of tetrafluorethane

I am not sure why you are insisting that this doesnt case brain damage.
It doesnt matter if it causes brain damage or not if you are DEAD. I guess to me DEATH is a good reason not to huff duster or anything.  I would do anything to have my son back.  Losing a child is the worst thing ever. To read your posts about
tetrafluorethane not causing brain damage doesnt seem make any sense becuase if your DEAD it dont matter.
Tetrafluorethane isnt made to be inhaled.
